Required Forms
If you wish to volunteer in the construction work for this project please complete the Volunteer Medical form and the Waiver and Release from Liability form. If you are under the age of 18, your parent/guardian will need to complete the Volunteer Medical form and the Waiver and Release by Parent of Minor Child form.
All forms need to be turned in to the Church Office before working. If you cannot download and print the forms here, please visit the Church Office, Monday-Friday, 8AM-Noon and complete the forms there.
~ Also, please be advised that photographs and videos will be taken during construction and used on our Facebook page and Website.~

- The Church is leveraging our existing land spaces to the fullest extent to serve our ministry needs and the community. We want to improve our facilities to create long-term solutions for our current issues and help establish a plan for future growth. DOT, Burnet ISD and Bertram City Council were contacted, and they all project Bertram to grow by 30% in the next 5 years. The building committee tried to estimate the additional costs associated with continuing to keep the current Annex limping along (e.g. replacing aging A/C units, lighting/fan problems, additional plumbing issues) and concluded that the associated cost without creating additional space was not the best option? Our master plan was to capture the now and future needs of the Church (Hospitality, Sunday School, Wed night Team Warriors, Vacation Bible School, Church Administration space, Choir, Youth, Missions, Nursery, parking, foyer, etc.).
- "Volunteer Christian Builders is a non-profit 501c3 organization made up of volunteers of all ages and walks of life. We work together with one common goal that binds us all together: the desire to help churches and christian camps build buildings they could not do without volunteer labor. We are fully funded by individuals and churches. To learn more about our history visit our blog posts."
- VCB typically does the following: Framing, Siding, Roof framing (or setting of trusses) and deck, window installation, drywall, instead , tape/float/texture/paint, acoustical ceilings, doors and trim, toilet partitions and accessories, branch circuit electrical and sometimes plumbing (depending on having a volunteer who knows plumbing).
- Pray Warriors. Pray for God's Will to be done throughout the entire project
- We need large scale meals provided for the VCB group
- A few host houses and locations with RV hookups
- Errand runners
